In-Person voting information

Make sure you meet the following voting deadlines to ensure your vote is counted!

In-Person Voting
In-person voting will occur on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, from 7am-8pm. Use this link to find your polling location.

As election day approaches, check back for updates about COVID-19 protocols at your polling place.

vote-by-mail information

Make sure you meet the following voting deadlines to ensure your vote is counted! Learn more about voting-by-mail (aka via 'absentee ballot') below.

You should vote-by-mail if...
a) you are registered to vote in another state but currently living in Berkeley
b) you do not want to vote in-person on Election Day

You can check if you are registered to vote-by-mail or vote in-person in California by using this link. If you are registered to vote in another state, please visit your state's "Check Your Status" website.

Vote-by-Mail Application
Your vote-by-mail application must be received 7 days before election day: October 27, 2020. Use this link to access the vote-by-mail application.

Vote-by-Mail Ballot
Your vote-by-mail ballot must be postmarked by election day (Tuesday, November 3) and received 3 days after election day (Friday, November 6). To be safe, give your ballot 14 days to be delivered—send your ballot by Tuesday, October 20.
